Organizational Behavior is a field of study devoted to understanding, explaining, and ultimately improving the attitudes and behaviors of individuals and groups in organizations.
In this course, you’ll learn how to think like an organization and people developer in order to improve performance and commitment in the workplace.
You’ll learn to distinguish between
- Desirable outcomes in organizational behavior: Job performance, organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and commitment
- What’s going on in your people’s mind: Job satisfaction, motivation, stress, trust/ justice/ethics, learning/decision making
- Fields of action in organizational and people development to make that happen: Individual aspects like personality, values and ability, group aspects like teams and leadership, and organizational aspects like structure and culture.
